Test Estimation made easy
Test Estimation is one of the hardest activities to do well in testing, the main reason is that testing is not an independent activity and often has destabilising dependencies.
During this session we shall uncover some of the common problems associated with test estimation and how we can transform it from a difficult task to an easy task.
We shall explore the four test estimation techniques described in the new ISTQB Foundation Syllabus (v4.0), together with when and how to apply them:
- Ratio-based
- Extrapolation
- Wideband Delphi and
- Three-point estimation
