The A4Q Certified Selenium 4 Tester Foundation Certification is an independent, internationally recognized certification which attests to expertise in the field of web application test automation with Selenium. Certification is obtained by passing the A4Q Certified Selenium 4 Tester Foundation certification exam. Candidates can prepare for the examination by attending am accredited training course which will include hands on opportunities to develop automated Selenium tests or use the syllabus as a self-study aid.

-    A4Q Certified Selenium 4 Tester Foundation is based on Selenium 4; whereas A4Q Certified Selenium Tester Foundation is based on Selenium 3. The syllabus introduces the concept of automation testing for people with no background in test automation. Some programming knowledge (Java/Python) is recommended.

The training should cover 18.25 hours of instruction, distributed across the six chapters and the practical exercise as follows:

•    Chapter 4: Using Selenium WebDriver - 150 minutes
•    Chapter 5: Implementation of Test Automation in an Organization - 80 minutes
•    Chapter 6: Adapting a Selenium TAS - 45 minutes
•    Practical: Java or Python – 240 minutes
Students wishing to self-study will not have access to the exercises offered by accredited training providers but should use the chapter timings as a guide to support study (don’t forget to try the online mock exam – available soon)
